The Sea Notes Choral Society brings people together through the joy of singing. Our members share a love of music, friendship, and community performance.
We welcome new singers throughout the year as space allows. Because we aim to maintain a balanced and high-quality ensemble, membership is thoughtfully managed based on vocal needs and performance capacity.

How Membership Works
We welcome singers:
- Age 16 and older
- With a passion for music and community
- Choral experience is preferred, but not required
New members are accepted based on:
- Balance across vocal sections (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass)
- Total number of active members
- Venue capacity for upcoming performances

Our Performance Seasons
Sea Notes performs throughout the year with three primary concert seasons:
- Spring Concert
- Patriotic Concert
- Christmas Concert
Member participation may vary by season, which helps create opportunities for new singers to join.

Joining the Waiting List
If we are at capacity, your application will be placed on our waiting list.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Applications are reviewed and organized by our Membership team
- Openings are evaluated before each concert season
- When space becomes available, singers are invited based on:
- Voice part needs
- Order on the waiting list

What Happens Next
- Invitations are sent out as openings arise
- You may be contacted up to three times
- If you are unable to participate or do not respond, your name may be removed from the list
- The waiting list is typically maintained for up to one year
If demand is high and space remains limited:
- You may be contacted at the one-year mark to confirm continued interest
- You may be invited to reapply if needed
